Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the Lysoniq app ("the App") or the Lysoniq website at lysoniq.app ("the Website"). By using the App or Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App or Website.
Lysoniq is a third-party Apple Music client available on iOS, macOS, and tvOS. It enables lossless playback, remote control between devices, and device switching for an enhanced listening experience. Lysoniq is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.
Lysoniq is available as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. This purchase includes access to the App on all supported platforms linked to your App Store account, and all future updates at no additional cost. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy.
The actual audio quality you experience depends on many factors outside of Lysoniq's control, including but not limited to your device hardware, operating system version, audio output hardware (DAC, amplifier, etc.), network conditions, and Apple Music's own streaming and encoding decisions.
Any references to audio specifications (such as sample rates, bit depths, or codec formats) on the Website, in the App, or in marketing materials are provided for general informational purposes only and represent the maximum capabilities under ideal conditions. They do not constitute a guarantee that any specific audio quality will be delivered in all circumstances. Lysoniq passes through audio as provided by Apple's frameworks and does not independently process, resample, or alter the audio stream.
Lysoniq is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding:

Lysoniq relies on Apple Music (via Apple's APIs) for all media content. The availability, quality, and catalogue of Apple Music content is controlled entirely by Apple. Lysoniq has no control over third-party services and is not liable for issues arising from their availability, changes, or discontinuation.
If you choose to connect a Last.fm account, your interaction with Last.fm is governed by Last.fm's own terms of service and privacy policy.
Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App or Website, you agree to our data handling practices as described therein.
Beta versions of Lysoniq may be made available through Apple's TestFlight programme. Beta software is provided for testing purposes and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or instability. By participating in the beta programme, you acknowledge these risks and agree that beta builds are not intended for production use.
We reserve the right to update, modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or updates, though we endeavour to do so.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms, abusing the service, reverse-engineering the App, or engaging in unlawful use.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App or Website after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
